One of my sister in-laws mates (I only met him once a few years ago) was one of those statistics. Living in Southampton, 52 years old and an international yachtsman. Fit as a scrub bull, no known health issues. Got diagnosed positive on new years day. Started to feel "a bit crappy" on Sunday, and "pretty crappy" on Monday. Went to sleep Monday night and didn't wake up.
Suspected cardiac arrest brought on by low 02 saturation, but give what's going on over there the likelihood of a proper autopsy is not high.
I suppose it could have been a heart attack completely unrelated to COVID. We'll probably never know.
