If you are the only person in the country unfortunate enough to contract COVID19, you'd better hope you've behaved your self:
That's a tragedy that could have easily been avoided with some common sense. These knee jerk reactions are just stupid, there's no lockdown in Melbourne and apart from the cases at the Hotel - all of which have come directly from the hotel, there's been no community transmission at all - yes, it's still too early to say it will stay like that, but anyone who attended any of the hotspots where the worker went is already in isolation and has been or being tested. I'm expecting more to come out of the area (I live right in the middle of this one so I have some skin in the game here) but why not use some common sense like NSW and Tas has?

and our thoughts go to the people affected by that incident.”
This would have to be the most hackneyed phrase of the "Covid Years"
That or similarly worded, seems to just tumble out of the mouths of Politicians as easy as. It always sounds so shallow & uncaring & I bet they never give another thought to the affected persons not unless they are in the hot seat for blame.
Definitely can relate to this.
Visited 3 states over a week with border rules changing all the time - ended up in isolation on 3 seperate times, had 2 PCR tests, had to make 4 permit applications and 2 exemption requests, had 3 government authorities chasing me, and was subject to 8 different interviews - and I was a negative case with no contact with any known cases or places.
Good to know the contact tracing is working well and glad we are not the UK or US, but make no mistake - there is no privacy under a police state.
So do behave everyone- and if not then wear a mask
