With a little bit of common sense and making sure that those infected Don't pass this virus on to others we will eventually come out of the other side of this emergency.
From what I have seen so far Many of the public are being incredibly Selfish with their Hoarding and Not self isolating because they don't give a rats arse about anyone else and this HAS to STOP.
The Draconian measures implemented in China seems to have worked Very well, Maybe we should bite the bullet and do the same.

I agree entirely with you. There is a difference between treating it lightly, and stoic pragmatism. I've been out shopping this morning, and I saw no panic or hysteria , and no complacency with any one I spoke to. The general feeling was , swing with the punches, and deal with what comes. If it happens, it happens. But be prepared, do what is necessary to keep yourselves safe. The only time I saw anything resembling the goings on in Melbourne shown on TV,[ and that could have been just sensationalist reporting], was when a woman of obvious central European descent was starting to get hysterical when there was no toilet paper. The young women at the till handled it perfectly, calmed the woman down, and we all carried on as if nothing happened. No, no one is taking this lightly, but we are not over reacting either.
pragmatist What is a pragmatic person?
A pragmatic person is sensible, grounded, and practical — and doesn't expect a birthday celebration filled with magical creatures.
Stoic.

I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food
A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking
