I work in all the supermarkets and as of last week there's generally plenty, as in one to three pallets delivered of a night, but the problem according to the managers is it's all gone by ten minutes after opening.
Even staff can't often get any

Just got the updated Road Report.
Tourist season might be a bit of a Fizzer I think.

What would I know, but maybe fresh deliveries could happen very early morning, make sure the shelves are full, then the oldies can shop for an hour properly. Maybe an orderly by date,on line ordering & delivery system could be set up, surely the stores could absorb the cost, they'd be one of the very few that are making big dollars at the moment. An on line ordering system would have its ordering item "limits" too, so that the greedy "people" would be "squashed".

Just noticed that there is a store in the UK that has two selections of boxed necessities which you can order on line, you can order two boxes, you can track your order, & delivery is said to be the next day. I reckon something like that could work?

    Update .
No toilet paper at ALDI Green Point.

I wrote a facebook message to Coles suggesting that a management member walk the line and tell the oldies whether they have stuff and also brief the checkout persons .

Surely in this GPS day and age they could organise to know and publish the expected availability time for a load.

My wife was told at Coles which she went to at about 10AM that the pallet of toilet paper had arrived at 7.45 and was gone immediately.

So 50 or so oldies waited about 1 hour in a tight queue . Not good for virus transmission.

I also wrote to the PM pointing out that here were the most vulnerable people in the community waiting in a queue, along with a photo.

Great stuff for doing that Philip, let us hope the PM & Coles follow through on your suggestions asap..

Just watched Border Force get themselves out of the Poo with their excellent response by their Guvnor & while he said, "I''M NOT IN THE BUSINESS OF APPORTIONING BLAME yada yada yada" he certainly did a thorough job of doing that & dumped on NSW Health for the cockup in Sydney Harbour.

Somehow the Dept of Ag was also involved with testing samples.

We did wonder who ****ed up didn't we.

I used that option quite some time ago, now I just see "Eevo is on your ignore list" - whenever he comments, well , its a list of one...
Now I just get a giggle at his every post.. You should try it.

The toilet paper thing and general hoarding is bloody insanity.
People must have their garages packed to the rafters with the stuff.

Dan Andrews Says in Vic Stage 3 restrictions are inevitable but hasn't said when, being honest and saying that fuels even more panic for the hoarders'

Maybe it is a type of Security blanket, Rick? Even so I also do not understand it.

Maybe they believe all that paper will soak up the Virus? The more one has the less chance one will have of being infected. Dunno. Funny old world at the moment.

Just saw this, sounds promising. I wonder if this is a Harry & Meghan initiative?
