Someone might not want the data to be subpoenaed in a divorce proceeding that might reveal the name and/or location of their girlfriend, mistress, etc. Which could also potentially huge financial implications when it comes to settlement, child custody, etc.

As I only switch my phone on for about 10 seconds once every couple of months I think that the app is not going to be to effective,

Which is not "justice" as it is usually understood, more akin to contract law, especially if a pre-nup was involved.

I don't understand what you are saying here sorry. There are disclosure requirements in order to allow the Family Court to make informed decisions on these things. They also impact on submissions to be made by the Child Rep and the opinions of the Child psychologists etc. So IF such data were available and that's a big IF, the individual might not like it, but such info will help get the just result in terms of Family Court justice.
