The new cases are dropping in Melbourne. Hopefully the nightmare is nearly over. And just as hopefully it will not start somewhere else in Australia. I don't care what anyone says, I think all our State Leaders deserve a pat on the back for how they have coped with this crisis. Mistakes were made, sure, but it's how you recover from the mistakes that counts. And what we learn from those mistakes that matters. The biggest lesson from all this is all Australians must stick together in a crisis, perhaps some of our new arrivals might have learned something positive about their new society, and take that forward into the future. We can only hope. And once again, the most vulnerable in our society need consideration in times like these. You know something? despite all the negative hype from certain media outlets, we are a caring Nation. And working together, we do get things done. I for one am proud of my country, and the people in it.

I've been getting funny looks as well, but that's pro'ly because I couldn't get a surgical mask, so I've been wearing my Zorro one instead.

Situation normal in Britain. The Poms have a massive blowout after the lockdown. Happy drunks, angry drunks, nude drunks, as they kiss Corona goodbye. [ hopefully].

Nudity, fights and drugs: Police chief criticises 'drunks' as pubs in England reopen

A technology problem to ponder, how would all the surveillance cameras in China be going with everyone wearing masks? Somewhere a tech is being abused because people tracking isn't working so well.....

When AI- driven facial recognition gets anywhere near as good as the (UK Police) 'Recognizers', then wearing a mask won't prevent detection. There are other markers, ratios of distances such as between eyes related to eye-to-nose-tip, or forehead etc etc. Then head shape, ears are also unique, a person's gait. And so on.

    Benefits of hydroxychloroquinone

For the Trump detractors - ie, 'anything supported by The Donald 'must' be as dishonest / incompetent as he is...'

Here's a scientific waffle on why and HOW HCQ is potentially useful in treating COVID-19

    https://www.thelancet.com/journals/l...806-5/fulltext

Another peril of lockdown = economic damage = accelerated all-cause MORTALITY, using the examples of Berlin Wall falling and Communism crumbling.

Would those numbers be officially listed for Cause of Death as 'COVID-19' ? I dont't think so.

The article is from 2003. That is why they tested it on Covid. By the time Donny suggested it, it was already clear that is did not help for Covid. It has always had well known serious side effects.

All of this was well known.
