Bull **** !! There's plenty of Australian citizens caught overseas that have been unable to get home for many reasons, even so when the day comes that Australia denies entry to its own citizens then as a nation we are truly **** ed.

So my suggestion to Mr McGowan is suck it up and 'pull you weight'

So, the citizens flying home have been forced to fly to Melbourne and Sydney, have they? Or are they the scheduled flight destinations? Talk about putting spin on it.

The material handed out assumes that everyone has multiple bedrooms with ensuites and that the victim can be fed by placing a tray outside their door. I'm not sure how that translates to a housing commission flat but at least the infection is contained to one household. It would make sense to remove people who test positive from the household environment but I'm not sure that it would be feasible to do so given cultural sensitivities, language barriers and possibly the need to compel them to leave their house.

Those towers were built in the 60's and early 70's. Ensuites weren't invented then AFAIK.

I am somewhat familiar with the Kensington ones and the local area, from a couple of years ago when I used to dine at a really good restaurant in Racecourse Rd with a girl who lives a little further to the SW in the old sale yards estate quite regularly .

Those towers have the most amazing mix of races and religions who share communal veggie gardens, etc, on site. Dunno what's happening with that.

I never felt unsafe in the main street at night amongst this mix of asians, africans, etc, all going out and about to the different coffee shops and restaurants. Never felt unsafe walking to and from the restaurants either. Really taught me something.

A global report gives Australia an A for the coronavirus response, third in the World. Far be it to be a contest, but NZ is ninth.

Global report gives Australia an A for coronavirus response but a D on climate

That was fine for then but since then I understand some "bad bastard Effrican types" have moved into the area so it may not be the case now.

Although, there is one way to test that theory............................................ .................... if you are game.

Leave/Escape? Apparently he was on his Toes & doing a runner when the cops nabbed him. That upset him so he bit one in an altercation. Now banged up & has been charged with a number of offences by all accounts. I'd get the ****s on if I had 20 coppers sitting on me.

If that's where the international flights land.....

Remember that even the Kiwis were coming back through Melbourne.

You're missing the point................ there were Somali cafes in the main drag alongside asian takeaways, alongside pizza joints, alongside one Viet place that did 3 settings a night.

Everyone I saw mixed freely. You're way behind the times, haven't been there and maybe , sadly, part of a problem of disinformation.

I hope I'm wrong with the last bit.
