So where did you read that it was compulsory to answer the door?
IF the police or ADF come around to check if you are at home the only way to verify that is to answer the door or hail from these people.
People are being referred to the police for not complying/being at home after a compliance check has been done.
So what part of that makes you think that it isn't compulsory to answer the door to verify that you are Indeed at home??
It is NOT as if these people haven't been told verbally and in writing what is expected of them whilst in isolation is it??

IF you need any more answers simply google it yourself/do your own research because I seriously can't be bothered answering your inane/smarmy questions anymore.

In my house, if I am at the back of the house or even in the backyard, I cannot hear anyone at the front door. I understand the checkers know that people could be "occupied" when they visit so come back later and if the person they are looking for does not then answer it is only then they chase it up.

To be charged or fined the authorities will have to prove you were not isolating, not answering the door is not proof.

Though in Trout's world the Swat team will be called, the doors broken down with guns drawn and if the person is not home, when caught they will locked up on the spot - no trial .

This would have been explained to the people that are in isolation and the ONLY valid reason for not answering the door is that they are not there.
IF they are on the dunny or in the shower they could yell out and let the people doing the checking know that they are home that they will have to wait a few min for them to answer the door.
Why are people making up endless **** poor excuses for some peoples **** poor behavior is beyond my comprehension ???

It is NOT as if this home isolation is a brand new concept this has been going on for months now which makes the "I didn't know" excuse pure BS So what part of stay the **** at home while in isolation don't people understand??
You made a statement that I have asked you to quantify, you can't, so the only conclusion that can be drawn is that you made it up.

We have a large block,if we are down the back, they can knock forever and we will never hear them.
If they are smart they would come around the back, but coming through a gate that has a beware of the dog sign on it,would probably not be in their job description....

Same at my place, Paul. I can be out of sight and earshot of the house, but still on the property.

    Probably guarantee it!

I'm just back from a service call at a Woolies and had forgotten all about this!
We will be required to wear them when on-site, it's not optional for contractors.
In a way probably about time, hospitality and retail and their associated service industries have been among the most vulnerable occupations yet nobody ever mentions them.

QUICK, toss a Cammo net over it & pray they have bad eyesight.

Afterthought. If you cover it with a Cammo net does that neutralise the whole Cammo effect being that the vehicle is Cammoed in the first place? Will it appear as a painted shiny skinned vehicle & open to view to the passing Cop & ADF geezer?
Is there a Precis out on this?
