Possibly, but would she be using paperwork with a Cairns QH letterhead,in Wacol?
    I doubt it.

More than likely she is from the Cairns region, doing work for other areas from the Cairns office,as the other offices are overloaded with work.

Anyway, update Email an hour or so ago, from QBUild, directive from QCS,saying now don't have to do the 14 days isolation if test comes back negative.
But we have directive from QH a few days ago saying the opposite.

Something else to sort out with this lot tomorrow.

Could just be using her standard Cairns email and letterhead while somewhere else.
Anyway, its good they won't require isolation if you test negative. Get ready for tears when the swab is shoved up your nostril and rotated.

Changed their mind again, seems QH directive overrides any others.
    So 14 days it is
    For one of our staff.

The test isn't too bad,but its not something that i want to have done regulary
Mine came back negative, waiting for others.

    ****!

We're being issued washable masks to wear when distancing can't be achieved, so basically anywhere around clients or the public.

A follow on from last week when Channel 9 was claiming the streets of Melbourne were packed and a few of us reckoned it was deceiving photography by using a long tele lens and shooting along the footpath.

Here's News Corp being sprung doing the same.
Check the newspaper pictures vs someone on the beach at the same time from a different angle.

But not at Bank Cash Out booths & if you do, you'd better blank out the "rick130 Refrigeration" & logo on your breast pocket.

It would also pay to leave the Glock in your toolbox as well, at this stage.

You may need it later if the Rozzers suss you out down at the Laundromat.

The newspapers in London did the same thing with cyclists:

Cyclists ignore UK coronavirus lockdown rules as they ride together in the sun - Mirror Online

If you actually look at the road markings it's clear that there's metres of distance between the cyclists at the red lights.

Mail accused of distorting truth in “MAMIL madness” Regents Park cyclists story | road.cc

Someone then turned up with a side-on photo of the "social distance breaching" cyclists that showed that they were all well apart.

Disco parked and Quietly riding to the chemist on the LEFT hand side of the left lant. A elderly gent coming the other way turning right across double lines gave me a serve of horn plus for being alive a few hours ago, I did not use PTSD excuse for taking out my frustration on him. There are bad bike riders. Strongly suspect there is a larger amount of total tools driving.

Vic rules might be different to others I count about three for him and as i didn't bite 0 for me
    1-Double continuous dividing lines

If you are on a road with 2 continuous lines (double lines) down the middle, you must:

    • stay to the left of the lines at all times
    • drive as close to the left side of the road as you can.

You are not allowed cross over these lines for any reason, unless you have to avoid an obstruction* and it is safe to do so.
You can't overtake, turn, or enter or leave the road across double lines.
Continuous double dividing lines that are wider apart may look different, but the road rule remains the same.

    2 Horns

You can only use your horn to warn other roads users or animals of the approach or position of your vehicle. They can also be used as part of an anti-theft device or alcohol interlock fitted to the vehicle.
See rule 224 of the Victorian Road Safety Road Rules 2017.

    Give way

A summary of the key road rules for giving way in Victoria.
    Penalties

If you are caught failing to give way you could receive fines and demerit points.
    The rules in detail

The key road rules and reference numbers for giving way are:

    • 38 - Giving way when making a U-turn
    • 62 - Giving way when turning at an intersection with traffic lights
    • 67 - Stopping and giving way at a stop sign or stop line at an intersection without traffic lights
    • 69 - Giving way at a give way sign or give way line at an intersection (except a roundabout)
    • 71 - Giving way at a give way sign or give way line at other places
    • 72 - Giving way at an intersection (except a T-intersection or roundabout)
    • 73 - Giving way at a T-intersection
    • 74 - Giving way when entering a road from a road related area or adjacent land
    • 75 - Giving way when entering a road related area or adjacent land from a road
    • 114 - Giving way when entering or driving in a roundabout
    • 128 - Entering blocked intersections
    • 148 - Giving way when moving from one lane or line of traffic to another marked lane or line of traffic
    • 149 - Giving way when lines of traffic merge into a single line of traffic

I've been riding my bike around Melbourne since the mid-80s, a lot of that as a dally commuter - don't get me started on some of what's happened. Most serious was a dooring that completely destroyed my bike and missed chopping my fingers off by a couple of mms and which miraculously didn't kill me - I was thrown over the car door, between two trees and over a fire hydrant and tumble rolled to be my feet, thanks to my martial arts training. The driver and passenger drove off and to cover themselves went to a police station and complained that a cyclist had verbally assaulted them. Then there was the guy last year who came through under the boom gates at a railway crossing when I was crossing the road on a green light, missing m by literally mms - I had to go back and console the car driver who saw it.

    In other news ....

    - Melbourne down to 73 cases

    - Victoria may or may not be aiming at elimination - I can't work out what their plan is.

    - I'm presuming that we'll have restrictions of some sort up until Christmas.
