I think the time is right to tell the god botherers and do gooders to get stuffed and bring in nation wide voluntary euthansia laws. This would free up some medical facilitys
give those that want to die which is their decision and theirs only have their last wish granted

I don't think that what you're referring to is quite what the poster was alluding to. I took it as terminal type people.

At least if I catch my own there will be ZERO contact with anyone else, Which is far safer than going into a crowded supermarket is.

As others have said, catching a fish for the table is far more sensible than going to the shop and buying one, if in fact the shop has any.

I made, and make, no comment re NZ.
These isolation rules have been devised for the protection of the community as a whole and individuals. The enforceable rules have been assembled without the usual luxury of weeks or months of consultation and consideration of all conceivable situations.
Being pedantic and looking for loopholes is not helpful, it's distracting from the urgent task at hand.
Be a responsible citizen, follow the rules as presented and don't waste the hardworking authorities' time.

Unfortunately, if this was to take off as in Italy, which I don't think it will, the doctors will be making that decision for us. I think I just heard that the infection rate has gone down in Aus, some good news.
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

If the hardworking authorities would stop by and feed and clean my mum..... But they don't, so I have to, there is no other choice, unless we follow the thoughts of one who recently left us. My view on the sentiments expressed is, if you hate old people then take steps never to become one.

I am probably one of the best at self isolation here, as that is what I've been doing since Jan died. I said to my audiologist recently that just when I felt it was perhaps time to re-enter society, there is no society to re-enter. Just my luck.

I also insist on going out and tending a grave. The cemetery is small and secluded. There is nobody there that cares about the virus. Me included.
