Crossed into QLD from NDW this arvo through the Wallangara Check Point.....

Wasn’t stopped, wasn’t displaying permit and was waved though.

Previous trip I have been using my phone to cross the border through the locked un-manned gates. This way adds over 1hr to my trip, was short on time today and thought I’d try the manned check points.

I’ll give it another go on Tuesday and see if they are any stricter.

‘Weeks or months’ of missed virus transmission as NSW cases spike
“Some of the new cases that have emerged in south-western Sydney tells us, and [chief health officer Kerry Chant] explained this in great detail this morning, there was some chains of transmission we hadn’t picked up weeks or months ago,” she said.
“It’s really important for us to make sure that we’re not missing any of those chains of transmission.”

I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

Given that there's almost zero community cases in Melbourne now, how would she have got it here unless she was immediately in contact with one of the few cases - in a city of 5,000,000 - that we have outside of the current clusters and who weren't already in isolation?

If you're not testing in Queensland then you really don't know how widespread it is.

You do realise the border has been shifted south , so to speak. If you came from the new " safe " zone, the usual border policing may not occur, as the policed border would be at the southern boundary of the "border bubble".

There were four officials standing out on the road at the border.....I.e. at walangara, work colleagues said they still get stopped.

The guys didn’t seem to give a ****....which was fine by me.

I don’t believe there are any check point on the southern side/where the bubble starts. If this is the case why are there still locked gates on roads crossing the border. And all Queenslander are still required to apply for a permit even when traveling within the bubble.

I had two permit, a freight permit and a general permit.

What gives you the idea they are not testing in QLD ?

Have you crossed often. The reason for the questions is perhaps you are known to them, and they just wave you through because you are a regular crosser. Not what is supposed to happen, I don't think. At the end of the day , it all relies on your honesty.

As posted, previous trip I crossed the border through unmanned locked gate. Last time o crossed a manned border was early August

I was short on time today and figured a slight hold up checking permits at border was worth it instead of the 1hr + detour I was taking.

It was a work trip, no need to be dishonest.
