SupporterI saw a news report today that NSW Police were going along the long lines of cars queuing for hours waiting for Covid testing and issuing tickets for anyone using a mobile phone. Certainly a great way to get people to go for testing.
Apparently as soon as the poo hit the fan in the media over this, Glads stepped in and common sense prevailed and all fines rescinded.

The re-introduced Queensland/New South Wales border restrictions will only minimally disrupt the agribusiness, food manufacturing and commercial fishing sectors.
Anyone coming from a hotspot in the last 14 days will need an endorsement for exemption as a specialist or essential worker, and then they can apply for a border pass.
Anyone entering Queensland from New South Wales (outside a hotspot) will need to have aborder pass declaration, including returning Queenslanders.
