I am refusing the jab (for now), so that makes me a selfish moron?? My decision is not based on being an anti-vaxer or conspiracy theories or Clive Palmber or being over 50. You have no idea about anyone elses personal background or medical status so maybe you should keep comments like this to yourself.

Don't worry I have no immediate desire to enter Fort WA.

I'm in the same boat, Ray. Hopefully we'll get the safe one after September.

At the end of the day it is a personal choice for now, so no doubt you have carefully weighed up the known info. It is your choice what you do, the same as me & my choice to be vaccinated Whether I live or don't live to regret it, time will tell.

It is all new ground & like anything new, you takes your chances.

Hey, wanna buy a brand new Discovery 10 @ half current retail price? Can't say fairer than that guv.

A similar successful quarantine facility does not need to be way out in the bush, but does need to be where sufficient open land is available. Bit hard to find this in the suburbs of, or even close to, any major city is the problem.

Yep, the old Northfield Infectious Diseases Hospital was out in the back blocks surrounded by open paddocks and weeds, mainly Scotch Thistle. Closest housing was miles distant.

Today it is covered in housing & in it's time it saw off many diseases inc. Polio, Diphtheria etc.

Some buildings still exist which are still used as Medical facilities.

Yep...there's a bit of self righteousness being bandied around. Classic example was that Ally on the Today show with Carl. Two different mornings with two different politicians who refused to say what she wanted them to. She got angrier and angrier and finally spat this out at them " You need to be quiet, listen to what I'm saying then do as you're told".

    fear factor

It is a choice and the fear factor is a fascinating one to watch. I got grumpy over a Prof Kidds statement on radio to call your GP at the time Fear Factor was GIVE IT TO ME NOW prior to us having one to give. Not going to post the audio as I suspect making the Good doctor look silly again would be counter productive as we now have the vaccine to give to anyone over 50 whose fear factor is inclined that way.

FYI only. It is highly unlikely the other vaccine coming will be given to anyone over 50. If it was indicated due to significant anaphylactic reaction history to some ingredients you can have it now via a referral from your GP or specialist to a Covid19 Allergy or respiratory clinic

Its a swinging thing that fear factor Edit My choice to have it April Fools day was a hoot I think.

I must be a selfish moron too - but will wear that as a badge of honour when red necks make such declarations.

Like you I am not anti vax or anything else and will simply wait until I think the time is right for me.

I think all those bastards are required to attend a "How not to answer School" When they enter politics.

Some are not even very good at it either. Surprise surprise. Nor anything else at it turns out, later in their career.

Getting every Australian vaccinated is our BEST option to get COV19 under control and for getting our economy back on track again So how is "Refusing" to get vaccinated NOT a selfish decision???

IF you have a "Genuine" medical reason for Not having the vaccine then that is understandable But that would be the only reasonable reason not to get immunised.

You have to forgive Trout. He is an old trawlerman, and old fishermen speak their mind, right or wrong. He doesn't mean any harm. [ I know I'll regret that]
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking
