Check your settings in the App - may need to turn on notification reminders. By default it is turned off.

Not in NSW right now so unable to test if working at present.

If you turn on you can also alter the time period as well.

The Australian technical advisory group on immunisation estimates blood clots occur in less than 6 cases per million vaccinated. However the media reports it as " rare ". Any one scanning stories about blood clots will get a result out of proportion to reality. As for quarantine facilities , it's no surprise that it is the Howard Springs facility that is far & away the most successful, more like it, away from major centres , are needed as a matter of priority. You do realise that Howard Springs is basically in suburban Darwin, don't you?

The advantage that Howard Springs has is that it is not in a city centre multistory building, and has rooms for separate quarantinees (is that a word?) separated, not by a wall but by about five metres of open air, and not sharing a common indoor corridor, with a common ventilation system.

A similar successful quarantine facility does not need to be way out in the bush, but does need to be where sufficient open land is available. Bit hard to find this in the suburbs of, or even close to, any major city is the problem.

I agree. But not a problem that can't be overcome.
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

Howard Springs is a disused workers camp, 28 km's from the Darwin CBD. I lived in Darwin for four years, how about you ?

The first COVID-19 vaccine has been given emergency use authorisation for children between 12 and 15 in the USA. The US believes vaccinating children will be the key to protecting communities against outbreaks. Pediatric infectious disease specialist M. Chang states that adolescents are as capable of transmitting the virus as adults are. They are also less likely to have noticeable side effects, so could spread the disease without knowing it. From the Smithsonian.

EDIT. Pfizer has announced it will seek emergency authorisation to vaccinate children as young as 2. Moderna's clinical trial results for children 12 to 17 are expected in the next few weeks, and results of a trial of its vaccine in children 6 months to 12 years are expected in the latter part of this year.
