    Good news is nice

NYT showing numbers of people who get Covid post vaccinations is very very low.

    "Tracking post-vaccination infections
It has been five months since the first Covid-19 vaccine was administered in the U.S., and so far the data on vaccinations suggests that they are highly effective. Breakthrough infections, which happen after a person is fully vaccinated, are few and far between.

By the end of April, when some 101 million Americans had been vaccinated, the C.D.C. had received 10,262 reports of breakthrough infections. A study found that of those cases, about 995 people were hospitalized and 160 had died, although not always because of Covid-19. The median age of those who died was 82."

Know we know the poor sods who went to the 1 rotten point lost by the Pies to to Port not only subjected to that ONE point also to a Confirmed Covid carrier Hookturnistan is back in force

Just a few days ago shouting about 100s of days since the last wild infection here in Vic is now 14 or more cases. I wonder where /if it can be stopped this time? Hope so.

Saw a very funny Brazilian Virus. I cannot find the picture to share sorry. It is a Normal Covid cell and a waxed version got to love comedians.

Seems it doesn't pay to count your chickens etc?

I suspect that will be the pattern for the future. "Got you, you bastard!" "Eeerrr, no you haven't, adfinitum"

Cool bit about our medico's and science gurus is they now have tools that just a few years ago were science fictions stuff.

Crisper- DNA strand slicing is wow plus. "mRNA" is changing everything. A little Aussie cancer stock I love to bits has taken genomic testing from 24-72 hours plus to mass testing capability in 15 minutes.

Covid or Coronaviruses varieties have been with us for ever. The common cold is one. The changes in it are in no way going to beat the cool medico's and science gurus. The time frame is the only real question.
Edit- Note most people are being very helpful in containing the virus as well. Only a few sovereign cisterns to laugh at ( deliberate typo )

4320 minutes in case your wondering- that's 72 hours in minutes. Thermofisher mass testing tools (not my Aussie Spec stock) enables what used to take months or years to be done in days now.

PS I am an clearly an optimist despite predicting and being right about the sh-fight breaking out here again.

a cold dose of reality is yet to set in for many who have delayed getting the vaccines offered and available. I just might be tossing 3 in the bin in a few days- It is crazy plus.

I'm off for my first shot at 16:00 this afternoon, the main motivator being that I'm one less bunny to be done, which helps all of us.

Following the logic of that, is that there should be some little bunny eared Totes running around soon.

BTW, see if you can coerce a Bl**k Jelly Baby out of the giver. I was promised one for being a good boy but it never eventuated which leaves me thinking that maybe I wasn't.

    You may have better luck.

With 15 cases in Victoria, Qld has declared Wittlesea a hotspot and blocked entry to anyone who has been there, except Queenslanders, who have to go into quarantine for 14 days.
