Could be all of the above, or none of the above. Have to wait for the washup.

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

Aw I dunno Bob, if they are that sort then they should be bumped off. Permanently. Clint would.

Take them over to Corregidor Island & invite the Manila Sports Shooters along & get them to zig zag up & down the old airfield. Just to keep their eye in you understand.

    That should sort it out.

Had my latest Covid test today, because I have the symptoms of the Deltra strain - runny nose and headaches - and am awaiting the results.

I doubt if I actually have Covid as I think its more likely to be a cold caught from the daughter, who had similar symptoms last week, but tested negative for Covid. Still, its better to be safe than sorry.

We're supposed to go travelling tomorrow, so I'm sweating on a negative result. Glad I've had the first AZ and the influenza jab, which doesn't make us bulletproof, but it can only help.

Feel sorry for all the Sydney people whose school holiday plans have been ruined. Tough.

Read somewhere, here or the quacks, that we still need to be careful & still practice good hygiene etc even after we have had the Vax. Makes sense to me but how many will think they are bulletproof as they walk out of the surgery door immediately after getting the Vax??

    Party Party Party.

The barmy army - which is now an actual company, with its own website - think that if they've been vaccinated they don't need to do quarantine if they come to Australia for the Ashes .... so 10,000 infected Poms wandering around the country for 3 months? Nightmare.

Someone needs to tell, well, pretty much everyone, that being vaccinated does not prevent infection and does not prevent you carrying it and infecting others. You're just less likely to die.

We know that the quarantine driver who started the Sydney infections was not wearing a mask etc - police have investigated with a view to charging him for breaking the rules but we now find the rules did not require quarantine drivers to be masked up so no charges can be laid.

So once again our supposed great management processes have stuffed up.

When are the medical and political administrators going to be held responsible for their incompetence - the only things that has actually worked is closing the borders at the start - heaven help us when they are opened next year.

We'll all be vaccinated so it won't be an issue

Seriously though, if we are all vaccinated it will not be an issue because if we catch covid it will simply be the same as if you caught a cold, go home and get better and try and not spread it.

I include the public's lack of confidence of AZ in the cock-ups by the system - could have been handled a lot different and we would be all vaccinated by now .
