A similar solution , line all the workers up, but have a mole in the rear rank. Get the sternest looking Matron to scream barely intelligible orders like, " right you miserable lot, all those wanting a jab today, one step forward!!!" At this the mole takes one step backwards. Then have all the Matrons and the biggest and ugliest senior nurses [ looking at you Des] scream at the by now disoriented workers things like " one line ,now!!!" Face your front , what are you looking at Maggot!!!" " keep moving!!! keep moving!!!" Keep them confused & disoriented, by the time they get the jab, they will be wondering what on earth just happened. Who said I learned nothing in 21 years in the service. Simples, Mr Bee.

Thanks Bob, ( I think) Blimey, you are getting as bad as me. Yes it does tend to get a bit crowded in there sometimes but if you only knew the subjects that wash through I think you'd be amazed.. Not surprised, amazed.

But I am a ****ing great organiser & always on the lookout for a new brick wall to put this shower up against.

Why "new"? The current one has so many bullet indentations which has weakened the mortar that it is in danger of falling over & there are still a heap more to come imho.

Yeah, I only listen to the voices that agree with me. Less arguments.
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

The great escape, Covid style. Scaled two balconies, down an outside staircase, and kicked a door in on the way out. Steve McQueen would approve. In the watch house now though.

This is not new knowledge - it was obvious after 1921, and was raised in multiple publications as this pandemic started.

    That's a bit rough dude.

I don't know how you could even jokingly say that about John. The bloke is one of the most informed and level headed people on the forum. The mere fact that he has spent a good portion of his life working in a scientific field gives him that advantage of actually being able to comprehend the plethora of information on the subject with a critical mind.

The fact that he can so succinctly distil that information into something that is easily digestible here is something we are fortunate to have.
    Cheers,

    You're not wrong there, Eevo!
I put the back-pack style, blower on, the other day, to get rid of the leaves and sticks on the machinery shed, using a 4 metre ladder for access.

Talk about "Climb-it Change", over the last decade!

Then why the hysterical reaction to the Victorian lockdown , and to a lesser extent, the QLD one? Just politics?

Also, Bob, with the advent of political correctness and to a larger extent, the rise and rise of litigation, formed around people not being responsible for their own stupidity, knee-jerking and hysterics appear to be the norm, nowadays.
