Let alone that's relatively local, and it was earlier in the week, too.
You can only access the truckies showers and lounge there if you are a truckie.

I think that might be shut the gate.

Not exactly - there were four of them, but only three were infected and knew it!

    1. Breaching a public health order, restricting movement out of the locked down area. This one may not stick as the reasons you can use to leave the area are not well defined.

    2. Breaching a public health order - namely the "isolate for fourteen days and get a negative test" that is automatic when you are told you are positive. Hard to see how they could dodge that one.

They defied a health directive so have been escorted home, fined and I'd reckon they'll be continually checked up on over the next 14 days.

So I suppose a fine , then. My initial reaction was that they should be severely punished, but the lock down rules were fast and loose. Still, it beggers belief they actually did it.

I'm at odds on whether they should be severley punished as an example to others, but am aware that is probably a knee jerk reaction. I just can't believe they thought it was ok.

The people of regional NSW have every right to be very angry, especially if we see more cases out that way. I'm torn between anger and compassion for the young boys, they are only kids really. But the man was 49 years old. People do some stupid things when under pressure.

On the news tonight real estate agent in the Central West saying that they have been getting calls from Sydney residents planning to come and inspect properties that are for sale. They are now asking to see driver's licences before allowing buyers to inspect. One person from Lithgow was pointing out that a checkpoint at Mt Victoria would work. You'd need another one at Bell or thereabouts.
