One really has to commend those people that stand in long lines and wait to get tested for hours on end and the ones that sit in cats for hour waiting, it must be taxing.

Yes these people are to be commended for what they are doing and also deserve the thanks from the rest of the community for what they are doing.
What are we expected to think about the people that can't be bothered to get tested (even though they are feeling crook) that don't get tested and continue to spread this virus to others??

Torture for my daughter who sat in the car with 2 coughing toddlers waiting to be swabbed. When their turn came, the older of the kids chucked a proper wobbly refusing to be tested. Daughter had to do the test herself on the recalcitrant kid, strapped in to car seat, knee on chest, while nurse shouted instructions over the noise of the screaming kid.
The younger child just giggled as the swab was shoved up her nose.
    All involved now have PTSD.

There actually doesn't appear to be much of that - at least in Victoria - because there have been very few mystery cases. The only recent one is the Moonee Valley traffic controller who doesn't appear to link to any of the known cases even though genomically he has the same variant.

    Something for the "break-through" infections...
(Trust the Israelis to look for something better AND cheaper !

Israeli scientist says COVID-19 could be treated for under $1/day - The Jerusalem Post

And another reference to it..... Favorable outcome on viral load and culture viability using Ivermectin in early treatment of non-hospitalized patients with mild COVID-19 – A double-blind, randomized placebo-controlled trial | medRxiv

Even at $10 per day for a week... is cheap compared with Remdisivir at $3,000 a treatment.

I thought it was well on the 'outer' with the big clout / long term results. Like real info.

Yess indeeedie. both the 'Three-letter acronyms' are on the nose with Big Pharma and Big Regulators (CDC and FDA et al)

Problem is orbiting around conditions for the EUA - Emergency Use Authorisation. - The lucky drug MAY be used for a time, since there is NO alternative.... nothing else that offers hope... or works (at all)

Simply put, if something "else" is shown to be EFFECTIVE in treating this Biblical Pestilence...... that triggers an automatic cancelling of whatever has been granted a 'EUA'.

So there is a great rea$on to oppose, attack and undermine IVM and HCQ no matter what it takes. Doubly so as both have been shown to work, along with other treatment protocols using common meds and some herbals.

Imagine how the whole shebang would suddenly look.... lockdowns, masking, jabbing (or ELSE !) trace & tracking.... passports... if popping a couple of $2.00 pills kills covid in it's tracks. In a few days. = ALL 'FEAR' gone.....Travelling to work restored... eating out and getting back to footy / Church.
