The majority of the NSW population is in lock down, including more than 6 million people in Sydney and surrounds. NW NSW, Dubbo, Armidale, Tamworth, Byron Bay and the Hunter region as well. The ACT in lock down, and on the NSW South Coast, 18,000 residents of Bomaderry were told to be on alert for Covid symptoms, after virus was detected in waste water samples.

And the health Minister Mr Hazzard said " There is a defining difference between NSW and other States. We have always tried to keep as much as NSW open as long as possible."

Keep NSW open – Hazzard rules out statewide lockdown (thenewdaily.com.au)
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

Learning to speak the country's language would deffo be a Plus & I thought that condition was introduced as part of the Migration Process some years ago.
Used to be free and easy to access............ do a search to see who changed it to make it pretty much inaccessible.

can you get a vaccine? Many cannot "Children aged under nine are increasingly testing positive to COVID-19, with 44 cases of the contagious Delta variant detected in one day and young children accounting for almost 15 per cent of infections in the past fortnight.Infectious diseases expert Peter Collignon said while the Delta variant was behaving differently to earlier strains, children were likely to be contracting the virus from their parents as it spread through households rapidly. Many parents under 40 are not yet immunised."

The two covid positive idiots from Sydney who flew to Melb get a mere 5000 dollar fineThey will be just fine. Not so sure for all the un vaccinated kids and others out there

EDIT- sorry that cut above is an hour old from the AGE. Clearly will be news in the morning. Night all- 10km run and I am stuffed. Why o why do I live in a place that seem to be UP or Down then UP again and again

Had my first AZ shot today, booked at the local GP clinic a month ago.

Verbal consent, in and out of the shot room in 2 min max, very professional. 15 min wait, then off.

No probs, too easy. Just like the well oiled machine it should be.

A mate dropped by later after having his 12 week AZ booster at the same place, couple of reds, all good.

I know the one shot I've had will make limited difference till I've had the second.

It amazes me that NSW is still flogging the dream that they're going to vax their way out of their outbreak of delta.

The timeframes don't match up by any stretch.

Ian, the sort of fear I am speaking of is the slitting of Civvies's throats (Men Women & Children), the burning of a downed pilot trapped in a cage with no escape (I think he may have also been dunked in a large pond of water also) the forced walking off the roof of a multi story building for being gay & a whole lot of other deaths in line with these cruel bastards thinking. Would you be prepared to stay behind while your family was slaughtered? Then it was your turn. Still happy? Not for me either. Early days of the conflict we saw this happening until the Channels stopped broadcasting the footage.
I have no idea how long it takes to clear your mind of those atrocities but I hope these people would have been Psychologically vetted before they came here.

    That was my point.
