It is making the Police enforcement task so much harder when those subject to the tough rules see vision of the more wealthy parts of the city seeing mask free visits to the beach. People should do the right thing, but there is a suggestion that blaming the individuals when the rules almost invite people to game the system, is just plain dumb.

The government is playing the blame game, blaming individuals for not doing the right thing, blaming delta for being different, and even blaming the people in ICU for not being vaccinated, by revealing the number of patients who hadn't had the jab. And now that the virus has escaped to the regions, we find that aboriginal communities, in spite of those over 12 being prioritised as 1B in the rollout, the vaccination rates of aboriginal people in Western NSW are less than half the State average.

    Ironically, I worry about Bob.
He’s in quite a flutter over several events at the moment.

    Hope he’s ok.

Refugees who are granted permanent residency are funded for a 512 hour TAFE course, Certificate IV in Spoken and Written English, as part of their settlement package. This has not changed for decades.
I used to train refugee students in that course, although not at TAFE, so I can tell you it is a comprehensive and practical course aimed at giving people skills to function effectively at work. Happy to say most of my former students are working successfully. Just found out one of my blokes has just been accepted into the police, while 2 of my girls have started nursing.

Back on Covid and I see the first case in the ACT has resulted in 3000 close contacts - 3000! He got around.

Just used my $100 Qld Holiday Voucher to book a whale watching trip out of Redcliffe. Doing my bit to keep tourism going.

I know Covid restrictions are confusing so the link below might be a helpful explanation- and give a much-needed laugh in these difficult times.

390 new cases and 2 deaths in NSW to 8pm last night.
The source of 250 cases is under investigation. 22 cases in Western NSW. 41 people charged with breaching public health orders.
The Homebush vaccination centre for year 12 students is now an exposure site.
Seems a long time ago when there was 1 case at Bondi. Those were the days.

I just don't understand this John. WA Health went through the Kimberley communities many months ago, got the leaders/elders on board, and did blitz vaccination visits. Why hasn't the same happened there!

I think the 25 new cases in Dubbo is my biggest concern....

Ms Berejiklian said the high number of daily cases, particularly the cases who were infectious while in the community, didn't look like it would decline.
She says this and yet she persists with the wishy washy lockdown rules that obviously are NOT working.
Isn't doing the same thing and expecting a differant outcome the very definition of Stupidity??

NSW rural health is chronically under funded. Also NSW doesn’t have many purely Indigenous communities so a plan to target them is logistically more difficult, not that that is an excuse. NSW has had people dying in rural hospitals due to a lack of staff so outreach programs are non existent

IMHO, bob tells it how it is, albeit from the media mostly but where else would one get it?
His aim I'm sure, is to bring these articles to our attention which we may have overlooked & gives an angle to some of the crazy goings on which are of great concern especially if you live on the Eastern seaboard.

If he is breaking any rules I'm sure Moderators would tell him in no uncertain manner. If he isn't, then he has as much right as the rest of us to our opinions.

Don't like? Don't read. Or place him on your IGNORE LIST Simples.

    Just sayin'.
