BP never seem to drop their price when others do , yet they purchase from the same source as everyone else , there is no difference.

It is perfectly safe to transport and store fuel in 44's.
If you are Serious with your Safety concerns then I suppose all the LPG bottles that pretty much Every household has should be banned as well

Bugger! I didn't take my puny 2x20l Jerries the other day as planned & now I'll look like a hoarder if I do.

Maybe I should take my 1000l trailer down to the village and fill it?

We are only using wife's Hyundai I30 diesel at moment , she usually get's 4.2Lper 100 gets 3 to 4 weeks out of a tank , with the amount we are using it should double that with the limited use at the moment.

Spoke with the local store owner today and yes they have had one person filled up a 1000l fuel tank...another well over 600l..200l is common she said.

In any event she said they will prolly close as they can't see people being able to afford to buy fuel and run cars. We've lost wood sales already so for many people it's gonna be a chilly winter here unless they go stealing wood from state forests or run up big electic bills which they hope to forego😐
