And if it is one that is used at long intervals, such as your firefighter - drain the tank. A little forward planning may see you with not all that much in it.

All fuels will last a lot better if they are in an airtight container with no moisture at all.

And when I did eventually go there wasn't a soul in the place but it wasn't all wasted, BWS have an outlet next door. I didn't have Jerries in the car this time at the insistence of 'er indoors who objects to the pong of Petrol in tha car.
