    Kulthorn Kirby still exists as a public company in Thailand and utilise their own designs these days.

    Those old 2 stage belt drive ones were bloody heavy, we used to mount them on casters.

    What about the old CL series Kirby compressors?
    A mate still has one in a box under his house, brand new.Just a boat anchor now.

    LOL no I havent had head light washers for a long time, my horse made off with them!

    those old kirby vacuums are scary! had one for a while, was so cool. It would tow the wheelchair about. Stopped picking stuff up and then always smelt like it was on fire so it went bye byes.

    Forgotten about that one 3HP & poss larger (??) 3 phase I recall, yep they were ok as well
    For an anchor he would be fortunate, as they had a factory welded Lifting lug on top so just fit a galv shackle Job done. Oh, Plus an Anchor.
