Dogs, cats and don't forget wild pigs. Last year out near Winton and Longreach we had wild pigs fussing around our campsites.

We had them visit our campsite on Moreton island,late one night,they stole two saucepans that hadn't been cleaned.They also knocked over the table,which woke us all up,and gave us a fright,made one hell of a noise

Found one saucepan the next day,didn't find the other.

Carnarvon Gorge NP is also full of them.In NSW they have shooters in NP's to rid them of vermin,something they need to do in Qld.

A mate has a family property near Coen, on the Cape,which borders a huge NP.The park is crawling with pigs and wild horses.The damage they cause to his fencing and around the creeks and dams is huge.

Hope a person or two is worried their days are numbered?

I have a feeling that there are three people involved, i have no proof what so ever, just my own “gut instincts” if you like to call it that.

Blue Patrols aren't exactly common either. Suspects should have used a white one.

I go camping occasionally with a group of guys, one who owns, guess what- a mid 90's blue Nissan Patrol- boy am I ever going to rag him next trip. He prefers his swag, doesn't have a camper trailer, has a prosthetic leg, and all round nice guy, I feel for him- but will still give him a hard time....

Petrol as well,they said.

No doubt the vehicle and trailer are long gone.Stripped,burnt,resprayed,rebirthed,dumped somewhere,whatever.

The Police would have no doubt looked into every blue GU registered in the country before they released these details.

Anyway,i hope they catch the lowlife(s).
