That is better than one side of Brisbane to the other.

We mainly use express post and 99% of the stuff is quick, Aus post prioritise express over standard parcel.
forget eParcels they are are slow as, Cheaper but be prepared to wait long periods.

Wife sent two cards on the 6th, one to Tasmania (Launceston) and t'other to Blighty. Both recipients texted today, as just received. - THREE Weeks later.

Contrast that with my favourite example of service, 8 days for a 1.5 cubic-foot flat-rate box from middle of USA to my front door.

Even local posts from (WA) govt departments are taking over a week to 10 days.

Possibly a plot to run down Aust. Post, and privatise / flog it off to someone like Bundespost...
    - Or China Post.

Anyone else think Australia Post has dropped their bundle.?

So much for Express post. Supposed to be overnight within Metro areas - have a package that was picked up Wednesday morning and has been showing at the Sunshine facility since. Only has to come 50KM and it did the first 30 within 3 hours.

Tracking says ‘Delayed, please use Express post for fastest delivery’

    Already did that!

    Hopefully Monday...
If you need to contact me please email homestarrunnerau@gmail.com - thanks - Gav.

I got a card in the mail the other day, saying Aus Post is going to every 2nd working day delivery in my area, which doesn't relly bother me, but I am going to be annoyed if I find out the postie is riding on my lawn other days delivering junk mail. One can complain at auspost.com.au/letterchanges Metropolitan letter delivery changes - Australia Post

Don’t get me ****ing started on these *******!

One express parcel went the complete opposite direction, was lost for 5 weeks and arrived randomly.

2 parcels “onboard for delivery today” took 3 days.

I still have about 8 outstanding deliveries posted from QLD suppliers about 3 weeks ago.

The best one was a parcel stuck in Melbourne for 9 days. When I followed up (it was wife’s Anniversary present) I was told it wouldn’t make it in time and should have posted earlier. Anyone else think Australia Post has dropped their bundle.? fact I had ordered it a week before that fell on deaf ears. Anyway, was told it would be 4-5 days.
Whilst on same phone call local postie knocks on door - and hands me the parcel. Anyone else think Australia Post has dropped their bundle.? told the idiot at the other end of the phone they were as useless as their distribution team.

I think I have one that will take the cake, I received an ebay item that was sent October 2019 and never arrived until yesterday. 2 weeks short of 12 months from Canberra to Brisbane.

I was probably lucky they delivered it as they mostly just leave a card for me to waste my time to go and collect it from the post office. If I have a choice I use anyone else but Australia Post now.

Maybe these things fall within the sorting machinery & lay there until someone decides to have a Spring Clean in Summer.
