Is the boat you want to use in the water, or on a trailer? If on a trailer at a boat ramp I think that I would be looking at getting Mario into it before it goes in the water. Depending on what his wheelchair is, look at lifting that into the boat with him in it, rather than having the stress of getting him into a sling.
Interesting. ND and I are now free to use the ParksVic hoist at Carrum, as we have done a pointless induction.

l would have made you do a written test before just to make sure you comprehende.
I did mention that location would limit it's usage as they have it on the pontoon that the coastguard berth at so during the boating season it would be blocked by the boat. but l suppose it would have limited use by the limited demand. I have going to draft a letter to the minister fpr better boating to inform them that their intensions are good but impracticable the prob is parks vic is a different gov dept to better boating vic which is overseen by the fisheries minister I believe. This not just for me but for others with disabilities out there.

Mario, every word resonates. Mate, we have NOT given up. There is a solution, whether the Govt is involved or not. ND is sharp, and I can be LOUD if I choose. I guess I have to swallow my pride right now.... More on that later. But you will fish.

Tilt tray, just be ready for the sudden stop. I've been speaking to James, he hasn't given up by a long chalk.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

Haven't one of youse truckies got a mate with a Hiab crane on it. Job done, plus any complaints from the passenger just dunk him in the water.

ND, can you please PM me your email? I have been in touch with Hansa, and I want to include you. More reasonable input the better.

I have, against my better judgement, just emailed my estranged family member who is a high placed public "servant" in Vic. He knows the "ins and outs". Mario, perhaps you might become an 'icebreaker'. God knows you're big enough...

    Fingers crossed...
