They would have been the Cockney Queenslanders. Descendants of the mob who wandered aimlessly in the Palmer region looking for gold, or any dropped coins, back in the day.
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food
