Not always, Tote. In the same way as IPEC didn't always stand for I Pass Every ****. Don't ask me what it REALLY stood for. I have had that ingrained in my memory for decades.

Repco built very respectable racing engines, back in the day. They were once very good. Those days are long gone.

I find keeping an eye on the mailbox trash, look for specials and stock up (I got Penrite HPR 30 at super crap for $30 a 5 litre two days ago (40% off))

The Yellow Canary semis certainly used to get along. One day about 30 years ago, I was driving down the Hume in my E-Type and one flew past me doing about 130kph and had the old sign indicating it was supposedly speed restricted. I had my old style CB (before UHF was common) in the car and after I had fallen back a bit called up the Big Yellow Canary and asked that if he was speed restricted how come he was able to go 130kph - well for about the next 10 minutes all the trucks were trying ot work out who made the call - not expecting a black convertible would have a CB - calls were along the line - I think it was the red 4wd that did it, then next nah hasn't got an aerial - then I think it was this and that

Did slow him down though and they never worked out who made the call .

Many years ago I drove from Perth to Adelaide - with one of the Big boys drafting my Falcon at about 3’ from my bumper.

Only concern was I was cruising at 100........
