My sister in law was buried last Friday (not covid). Unfortunately I could not get to the funeral in country Victoria because I have the grandkids here for the holidays.

As of this morning, six (that I know of) of the mourners have tested positive, including my older son (and his wife has not tested positive yet but clearly has it).

I suspect I may have dodged a bullet.

I hope you have been lucky, John.

A couple of my friends, in their 70s, were really laid low by Covid.

I have avoided it as well, but am starting to take a fatalistic approach of 'When', not 'If', going by the number of new cases in my friends and rellies.
