Just look at NSW at the moment more than 21,000 new cases and six deaths since the new boy king scrapped all the COV19 measures in the "Gold" standard State.
And this will all change when COVID gets in, and it will get in, tell us then how good things are.

Why is it that so many people on this forum can't wait to see COV19 wreak sickness and death in WA , It's unbloodybelievable and pretty sickening.

Actually that’s only your take on it.

It’s called realism. And a direct response to your gloating that WA has done it right.

WA made money last 2 years because:
    - ore prices boomed early (it hasn’t made as much this year I can tell ya)
    - nobody could leave and come back if not essential (a lot of your FIFO live Interstate or OS)
    - your quarantine requirements increased “tourism“ revenue from hotels.

In the meantime you’ve had lots of your rights and freedoms regulated away, your laws rewritten on other topics, and the most unbalanced political system in Aus.

I hope you’ll do alright over there. McGowan certainly isn’t doing you any favours.

I wouldn't wish this on anyone, but...... as Tombie so correctly stated, there has to be some reality applied to your Premier's fantasy island at some point.

Edit: sorry misspelled a word. oops.

Reiterate all you like, you're wrong. I know it's a concept you've never considered, but nobody is wanting to see "COV19 wreak sickness and death in WA."
Lockout/down was always a temporary tool, to buy time so management strategies could be worked out and vaccines administered. All states, except WA, have done that. WA has the lowest vaccination percentage in the country and seems to have made little preparation to return to normal.
The country east of 129⁰ would survive with far less inconvenience, without WA, than vice versa.

I thought WA had been annexed to South Africa?

Without WA's exports (nearly half of Australias total exports) The country East of the 129th meridian would be in Very poor financial shape, That would be "inconveniant".

Without the workers from the east there would be no mining in WA. Without the food from the east, Western Australians would starve, that's more than inconvenient.
