The vast majority of people know that coivid is still rampant, They also know exactly how to prevent the spread of this virus and yet they just can't be bothered to take these precautions anymore.
Complacently and Apathy is spreading just as fast as the virus in Australia unfortunately

Important to remember we have done incredibly well here in Australia. Two years ago the government was saying we could see up to 150,000 deaths. To be well under this after 2 years, and at levels a fraction of what is seen elsewhere in the world is an outstanding outcome.
Our death to case ratio is sitting at 0.1% - one of the lowest in the world and alongside counties like New Zealand who also managed this very well.
One prediction they did get right in 2020 was that over 20% would get infected, and to be fair in parts of the world the death rates have been much higher than was predicted for Australia.
2020 and 2021 felt like we went too far in restrictions (some rules were just silly and plenty of mistakes were made), but because of this since 2022 we seem to have the balance right.
There is also a significant difference in how people who have had covid view the risk of reinfection and those who have not yet had it view their risk. A big unknown is the severity of symptoms across a vaccinated population with some of my work colleagues having a really rough couple of weeks compared to our family's experience which was fewer symptoms than the dose of influenza that we have been passing around the family for the last few weeks. Covid is still having a significant impact on my work place with a couple of the team currently off either infected themselves or supporting infected kids. One has a second dose and we suspect that his family was unlucky enough to have Delta the first time (and were pretty crook) and this time going on symptoms probably has Omicron this time around, however without full testing we'll never know.

Some background on the value of masking. This bloke works in the field of PPE etc. His qualifications are... bit higher than Australia's best Chief Medical Officer's "expertise" on Masks.

If he is such an authority on the subject, why is he unable to get his views published on reputable sites?
Why does he only appear on conspiracy sites that publish pseudoscience?
You still aren't bothering the check the reliability of sites that you rely on. Is there a reason you don't want to do that?
