Nearly died at work due to wearing a mask, the amount of peripheral vision they block is astonishing. Not an issue for seat warmers but when you're working around heavy machinery there's nothing worse than wearing a set of blinkers.

I won't wear a mask again, unless I have to visit someone in hospital.
I've had 2 shots and have had the bug. That's enough for me, i'm done, No dramas if others want to still wear masks, it's a free country.

It was obvious what would happen re vaccines, which has happened exactly the way I suspected it would, the only thing left is is the booster pushed for every 3-4 months for those who want to take the gamble, booster 28 anyone?
I have had 2 shots, will not take anymore, only got the virus a month ago, sick for 24 hours, also have a mask hatred with a follow up exemption due to medical issues caused by a life of smoking, oh silly me if my lungs were good I could wear a mask to protect them
Next variant may not be so mild .... and it may combine that with the infectivity of Omicron.

I've just put a mask on to test this and it does nothing to my peripheral vision. If you find a mask over your mouth and nose a problem how do you cope with safety glasses?

100% it affects vision... 100% downward though.

The safety glasses did fog up a fair bit due to the mask, but I wouldn't be wearing glasses most of the time.

I am well under the average age of 75 that ends up in hospital and well under the average age of death which is well into the 80's
Just as the average age life expectancy for an Australian male is 83 and i am vaccinated I just dont want a booster every 3-4 months for the rest of my life or while drug companies who have been fined millions year after year for falsifying studies and results keep saying it is in our best interests.
Maybe down the track if higher risk variants take over or if variant specific shots are proven to work or is a long term shot is developed and proven then I will take what I consider worthwhile.

Try putting it over your mouth and nose and not over your eyes…. It’s not hard.

They're more dangerous than the virus. (which I caught whilst wearing a mask full time)

So did I, but that's because the selfish swine that had it and gave it to me wasn't wearing a mask.

If you think wearing a mask is going to prevent you getting it, you need to work a bit harder at understanding what masks do.

That statement right there shows how little you understand even though it’s been mentioned on here countless times. As mentioned in the last post - wearing a mask protects OTHERS from you, not the other way around. You won’t prevent getting Covid from wearing a standard surgical mask, not sure how many times that’s been said but obviously this small factoid and a thousand others seem to have gone straight through to the keeper.

The Vax is out there, the virus is everywhere. Everyone will get it. People need to accept these facts and move on with a normal life.

Masks were totally necessary pre-Vax, not now. You're still welcome to wear them, but please don't do it to protect me.
