A man goes into a cinema with a bear on a leash.
Cinema attendant "You cannot bring that bear into the cinema."
Man with bear "He will be very disappointed. He read the book so now he wants to see the film version."

When one thinks about it, it must be pretty difficult to ride a Broomstick, ie. No room for a Seat belt &/or other Airbag paraphernalia & certainly not the side impact ones.

Clenching of the scissor bone would be of utmost importance in not falling off at speed or at any other time really.

What speed do modern Broomsticks travel at these days, I have heard Mach 2 but shirley that can't be right?

    Can it?
