Nothing like it Dave. In a conventional fridge, as you would know, the part in the fridge that gets cold is the evaporator.
In this fridge, the evaporator is just a heap of aluminum fins that transfer the cold from a pipe that runs behind it.
It is about 20 mm pipe that starts at the freezer and then goes to the fridge. So by the time it gets to the fridge, a lot of cold is lost to the freezer.
