Took just under twenty minutes to load with Firefox. Konqueror refused to look at it - which is a commentary on the site since konqueror adheres to the published standards more closely than any other browser (in other words does not allow for Microsoft's non-adherence to standards).

The site itself is big on appearance but seems to be a bit short on data. For example - nearby accommodation, perhaps a site map (the location map is a real good idea). I could not seriously recommend anyone with a dial-up connection to bother trying to load it. For comparison, the AULRO site loads in about fifteen seconds, has a lot more information, and works with all the browsers I have tried.

I did not find the print too small, but this will depend on your monitor - it will also depend on browser settings. I allowed pages to set the fonts without trying to control size or type.

Thanks everyone for your comments so far. I agree about the font size - as your browser will not substitute your preferred font as it is a flash movie.... so I will make them larger.

As far as things such as registration, event times, etc - they have not yet been decided, so I haven't included them. I could add more pics but then you'll suffer longer download times.

Ruslan - I appreciate your enthusiasm, but as a fellow website designer you'd know - it's what the client wants that counts. They don't want it any more complex than it is - even though it would be an absolute snap to provide. It would be great fun to do - but my time is also limited and it is provided for free.....

Thanks again - I'll upsize the type as that should help out lots of people.

    Cheers
    Chris

Your Defender is prominent in any gathering. I don't want to park next to you ever again - people thought my RR was a Freelander .

Hi Chris, impressive bit of work IMO.
    If I didn't know better, I'd say you've done this before .

It's just a pity I don't think I'll be able to make the Expo this year .

    Thanks Scott

Not going? Bugger! It's been so long since I've been out and about in a 4WD that I can't remember what people even look like any more. I hope to catch up with the normal crew at Expo this year as a sanity check....

Cheers - and thanks for the kind comment

    Cheers
    Chris

OK, Chris, I'm with you now. Tell them that LR community will be hapy to see something simple like Land Rover, so site content can be read anywhere or by any browser at any speed
