Just put a thinner belt on Ron. It's only a town car so it will still get you to the cafe & back.

I'm reluctant to post this as you blokes will think I'm making it up. It is true!
I bought a pack of 5 stylii off eBay for my PDA phone (I keep losing them). They arrived from Hong Kong today.
One of the 5 doesn't have a tip!
Just before I went to the US in May, I bought a new battery for my son's new video camera - well it was new last year and it hasn't been used since he passed away. I guess due to lack of use, the battery had failed.
I decided to use it this week so I charged the battery. It worked fine. The next day it was flat. So I charged it again. It was flat the next day. I've tried several times and the new battery won't hold a charge.
It is a dud!
Good news! I've just received the RA so I can return the washing machine for a refund/replacement.

Ah washing machines. Just bought a new one, after having broken three in a week.
Our machine died, after seven years of punishment - three to four loads a day, including a year or so of slow death that I refused to fix - parts and time were going to be more than the washer was worth. It started making horrible noises that drowned out the thrashed bearing noise and spat out chips of melted plastic. Finally we put it out of its misery after it lurched across the room, foaming molten plastic out of its mouth, and cornered one of the kids.
The second was my sister in law's machine, she'd just left on an overseas holiday, and it was cowering in the laundry, not sure if it was fear of us or the other washer. F&P top loader, nuff said, think the pump died.
We took a trip down to Sydney to buy a new one, came with a couple of bags of dirty laundry and threw a load into my mum's washing machine, same model and age as the plastic spitting monster. Fifteen minutes into the load it started spitting plastic. Funny thing is, identical machines, same age to within a month, ours led a life of misery, mum's did maybe three loads a week, died within days of each other.
The new washing machine spins at 1800rpm and I've tethered it to the concrete floor with a chain, just in case.
Scooze me Ron, but could you sell someone the rights to televise your life? Please?

a thinner belt will work no problems..........as long as you make sure its in the correct grooves on all the 7 groove pulleys........
ie.....if the 6 groove pulley is missing the front groove......then you need to skip the front groove on all the other pulleys......
the belt you have should have a 7PK number........get a belt with a 6PK(same number) and fit it......
and pretty much forget it for a while........
ps.....when you buy the new belt.......make sure its not broken......
Ah! That's useful info.
I pulled the shields off the bearing in the old pulley and washed it out, then regreased it with HTB grease.
Some might say, why worry about the money spent on the pulley but it was A$35!
That's more than the hooker in Vancouver wanted to charge me!
