Yep, have done the charge/discharge. It comes with 2 batteries and neither will get beyond 6 hours.

When one does a check command, it sends an SMS advising GSM is on and GPRS is off. I was thinking of turning GPRS on and then off.

I think GPRS is off as I only get billing on the mobile account when I request an SMS from it.

I'll fire off an email to the vendor today.

What's actually wrong with it? You are right the parts are nla since 2009 if it just needs the line he said some of them with some persistence can be opened and reloaded

I've been reloading it since 1990. Unfortunately, the white nylon wrapper around the spool and which retains the line has snapped.

I bought a small astronomical Dobsonian telescope from Aldi last week - it was the last one they had. I thought it might be nice to have when camping. I'm not an astronomer so I'm not expecting perfection.

I opened it up last night to try it out.

It's missing the eyepieces. :(

Oh, well. Back to Adi today for a refund.
