At least you're doing your bit to ensure that trucks from your area are not going back to the warehouse empty.
A few weeks back I bought a reversing camera off evilbay. It was supposed to have dynamic tracking, IR capability for night use, and the image quality looked good (in the ad).
None is correct. After installing (to replace the failed aftermarket camera I'd installed in the L322 - the camera fell part and the connection lead developed an internal fault back up behind the trim panels), I found the image to be awful - it blows out on bright areas and is useless at night. They admitted it doesn't do what they said it would and will refund me. However, that doesn't get over the amount of work required to remove trim and install the new camera.

I bought a solar sentry light from ALDI this week to install at the front door of our radio club.
I installed it today. The DC socket where the solar panel plugs in is faulty. I had to take it down and will return it to ALDI for exchange tomorrow.

Went back to Aldi, got a replacement, went up to the radio club and thought, "This time I'll test this before I install it". I took it out of the box and the On/Off switch fell out. It wouldn't stay in place so I had to repair the light before I could install it.
It's my own fault. I ummed and ahhed about which one to pick up in Aldi. I should have got the bloke standing beside me to select one for me.

I picked up a small portable air compresser and hose from Tradetools last Thursday.
Took it to a job Friday.
First the air hose end blew off,it wasn't crimped on properly,so we had a set of vice grips holding the crimp tight so it wouldn't keep blowing off.
Then the handle cracked so we couldn't pull it along.
Back to trade tools they are going tomorrow.![]()
Phew! I missed a bullet there!

Cheers, Billy.
Keeping it simple is complicated.
Well it is a proper bastard when "THEY" say "Bring it back & we'll replace it" or "I'll need to see it first etc" Bad luck for the purchaser that has to travel a return trip of 20 or 30km because some incompetent clown didn't do his/her job in some distant sweatshop.
And when they can't even offer an apology for the inconvenience on behalf of the business, is when I really stop being Mr Nice Guy & become Mr Grumpy Arse.![]()
I went to a locksmith on Friday to get an extra key cut for our radio club. Tested it Saturday - it didn't even fit into the lock. So back to the locksmith, this time with said lock for another key.
This one fits.
Why me?![]()
