It annoys me that one has to buy a subscription to the on-line Macquarie - it should be free to all Australians. The on-line Oxford and Merriam-Webster are available free.

Recently bought an Australian Concise Oxford - price $62, although buying it from a liquidator's sale I got it for half that.

Thanks, Ian. It's a pain not being able to lift anything with my left arm and to not be able to finish the painting of the house.

It could be worse - I could have retired before this happened and left all that unused sick leave behind. Retirement has been deferred for a while.
