Make sure you visit the Smugglers Tree in Iron Range NP, best spot to see Eclectus, Geofroyus and Glossy Starlings.Chilli Beach has a huge flock of Torres Strait pigeons that roost there as well.Gordon creek campground is good for Yellow Billed Kingfishers and Purple Crowned Pigeons and keep an eye out for Palm Cockies on the road in to IR.

    Gday Knotty,

Yes and now. This one was deeper than I expected, but it wasn't deep in the big picture. After some time thinking about it, I think that I ran into water that was deeper than I expected faster than I had thought. I think the speed is really what clinched it though, as I've been through water before and after than has been a lot deeper than what this was.

This is the crossing on the return trip.
    Cheers
    Slunnie
