. I find it funny when I stop at the light and there is nothing behind me and 10 cars in the lane next to me. I find I'm often through the intersection when the first car is still moving off.

that's what is fitted to mine (1968 2a LWB Ex-Army) and I can sit on 90+ on the highway with 7.50 x 16's. the original Zenith Carby tuned correctly is good, with a Holden Carby you need an early model as one off a 186/202 will only drown the motor with petrol, early grey motor FE-to-EJ Holdens are best, the Landrover replacement carb for the original Solex or Zenith is a Webber 34-ICH model
