Who have you got the agreed value through.
I tried a few places and when I told them I wanted $25k for the replacement value they hung up on me

My opinion was that you should be able to value it for as much as you want, but you do pay the premium for it.
I mean how many D90's with gal chassis, turbo'd Isuzu's with R380's can there be getting around out there? It's not like I can go out an buy another one.

    Cheers

$8-10 for something pretty decent mechanically/physically... but you know the second you try to sell it everyone will say it's worth $2k
DaveS on here recently bought one for around the lower figure. I haven't seen it yet, but it sounds fairly tidy apart from some (minor) rust in the chassis.

One sold on ebay a few months back for around $5-6k which sounded fairly tidy.

Sorry to troll this up, but thought it was better than starting a new thread.

I recently bought an 86 110 4bd1 lt85 county for 4k. Its a bit rough around the edges but for the most part I'm happy for the $

I'm looking for a few bits and pieces like a front diff and maybe maxi's if anyone has a lead on them.

Also, I'm going to run 255/85/16's. Anyone had trouble with scrubbing on the exhaust running something similar??

With the standard exhaust you'll probably have a bit of tread rub on the left rear with 255 85s, but is an easy alteration for your tame local exhaust man .

I just had a customer in here at work driving a 110 3.9D that from a quick look, appears to be REALLY neat and tidy ... AND has only done 159,000km !!

... is going up for sale early next year as the owner is too old and struggles to get in/out.

Told him to contact me when its ready to go ... only lives a few minutes away from me too ... might be a 3.9 in my future !

    Don't really need a 3rd 4WD but I've always wanted a 3.9 Isuzu ...

    Shhh !! ... don't tell the wife

You don't think she'll notice it on the driveway, Kev? Is it Auscam?

No. It's dark blue ... We've got so many cars parked around home at the moment I'm sure she wouldn't notice it

... she's never noticed any of the guitars that seem to find their way into the house ... or, she's a diplomat and there's a big day of reckoning coming ...

Family's good Ian. Thanks for asking. Daughter has just got home from her 3 month trip to South America (back packing) ... so she'll be living with us for a while, while she pays me back all the $$$ I fronted to help her go. Cha Ching !
