I love my white rangie and I always have prefered them in white. With all the black barwork it looks ubber sexc (to me)
Cars on the other hand look silly in plain old boring white.

Well I can tell ya that when cars on the highway have a big black D3 coming up their date..........they can see me all right........and they move out of the way, quick smartYep, you can't tell if they are dirty though.
I love dark silvers but I refuse to buy one - ever. Buying a car the same colour as the road is just a really stupid idea IMHO. Even if it's the most beautiful thing.. its still a really stupid idea IMHO.![]()
. Whats stupid is somebody who can't tell the difference.........derr......arrrm........is that a car on the road..........can't quite tell because it isn't white

Yep! I love it too. At least a defender is pretty big. That's got to help. The visibility issues can be bypassed by running daytime running lights.
A friend of mine drove from Laidley to Brisbane each day. She got herself a dark silver Honda Civic and noticed that everyone kept trying to overtake while she was there. Eventually she worked it out and just ran with her lights on after that.
It's all pointless though. After our last trip a dark colour would have needed a complete re-spray.

coloured vehicles are way nicer to look at but white ones on the other hand are just so much more practical.
had black, maroon, green, yellow and a host of others over the years but the white / cream ones tend to stay with me longer when i think back on it...

If all cars had daytime running lights (a la Volvos) then it wouldn't matter what colour your car was.
We always drive with our headlights on out in the country, but not in the city.
Agree 100%, white is more practical, doesnt show up the scratches as much, but at the end of the day, I would still prefer my road coloured carcoloured vehicles are way nicer to look at but white ones on the other hand are just so much more practical.and fall under the guidelines of stupid

I think Stevos black jobbie looks excellent.
Maybe, those who can't see other cars (of any colour) shouldn't drive.
I had a custom Ford Transit van years ago, which was black and white. That'll confuse the statisticians....
