Should have no problemsat all with that, obviously niggles here and there but the classic's are pretty reliable ( the 3 i've had have been ).
if he dos'nt buy it, give me a shout, if it's the model with airbags, i'd love one!
good luck,
Ray
My son has shown interest in entering the world of Land Rover.
I know of a Rangie Rover Classic 1995, 145,000 genuine k's, one-owner and serviced regularly - for $11,000. (No extras ever fitted and never, ever been off the road).
Is it a good price? If not, what is a good price?
And fellas, what do I have to look for when checking it out - and more importantly, what can the Young Bloke expect in the next 30,000 or 40,000 kilometres - in regard to normal parts that need replacing due to age or mileage etc. That is a bit vague, I know - but I really don't know much about these.
He is not really interested in putting it on gas - nor is he "ready" for hard off-roading (how many times have you heard that - and then they get a taste for it!)
Anyway, thanks for your assistance.![]()

G'day Barra1
A Range Rover Classic late model too, what a CHICK MAGNET![]()
even if it's on Airbags an easy change to Coils, 11K I would try for 10, that is with a RWC but if you know the vehicle it could be worth the extra, seeing you know the history, put a light type brush bar on it to save the paintwork and a towbar to tow his mates, crumpled crummydores and you are laughing
cheers
That is pretty much the going price for such a late model Classic. I thought they stopped in 1994, but obviously not!
I saw a 1993 with 200,000Km on it last week for $10,500 at a dealers.
If he wants to swoon the birds with it theres an LSE in the marketplace, that would impress them.
You sure its a clasic....
thought 95 were P38's if its a clasic 11k is to much I carnt sell my 93 LSE for 9k been in the trading post for weeks now
if its a P38 airbags etc..then maby if its in top nick
they may be advertized for 10 k but there not selling for any where near that
tony
I had one exactly the same. Airbags and all.
It doesn't impress the girls...it was always known as a "grandad" car.
Problems I had:
Air springs
Alternator
uni joints
electric sunroof
drivers side electric window (rust got in the metal bit that holds the glass)
It was nice to drive and very much a gentleman's club on wheels. But the diesel discovery I had before was much nicer to own. Less things to break and the fuel economy was amazing!
chick magnet you say
