    Storage drawers?

After a set for the Defender, and possibly the D3 too. Who's got what, and can I see some pics please? I quite like the Black Widow stuff (but not the price) and the consoles.com ones too, which are far more reasonable...

I'm just having a look around currently too and although I'm not sure what I'm going to do I recently saw my neighbours draws which are by OffRoad Systems and were much cheaper then most others on the market. They aren't as strong but then I sort of think the top of the line ones are overly strong so the off road systems ones are more then adequate I believe.

So although no pics for you or anything it may be a brand worth chasing.

I'm thinking of selling mine out of the P38A and starting again. They are commercial units along the lines of Black Widow et al.

    They won't be as expensive!

I'll post pics later when I get home.

I've never measured up, but any ideas how close the back of a RR is size-wise to a D3? If there's a chance they'd fit, I'd be very interested.

    Hi Jeff,

Have you seen that PROJECT 1, modular draw and sleeping area ?

And this is what I made:

Black Widow is heavy, expensive, can't be removed quick if you need to use all space for some reasons. That frame less 15kg including plywood, allows to sleep on top. You can make any shape/size you want.

Probably won't fit. I bought them off a D3 owner who had new drawers made up for his. They'd be a bit heavy to ship to WA.

    However, I'll measure them tomorrow.

Note this is a work in progress. It's not yet finished.

Click on thumbnails for a larger image. (Dunno why they are blurry.)

If the drawer is removed, I can access the space in the wheel well for storage of some stuff. Most of the wheel well is taken by the LPG fuel tank and the second 100 AH AGM battery (just visible to the left). The grey thing in front on the tailgate is the removable panel that covers the hole under the drawer.

These drawers can be removed in about 5 minutes so I don't leave them in unless needed.

They look good Ron. Not very often I see one of the reliable old style Engel's like that either. Mine is the only one I've seen around here for a long time.
    Cheers .........
