Ive just measured/coppied up an undersill tank for my 110 and i'm starting to build another couple for under the drivers and passengers sills. Once i build one, and make sure i get the measurements 100% would anyone be interested in coppying all my sketches into CAD and posting them up on the forum for others to use?
It would a few hundred dollars if you went down to a sheet metal fabricator with some cad drawings and got him to build you an aux tank or 2.
These are pretty much the same as the ones in the arb catalogue for $1300+
They aren't just a simple box, they have 16 sides, due to the cut outs for the crossmembers. They dont hang down past the chassis rail, and taper up to the sill. I estimate they are about 70 litres each, however the passenger is a bit less due to the battery box. Any takers?

same here... inventor, pro-e, etc etc so format shouldnt be a problem!
Thanks

Yeah, I could do it in SolidWorks as well if you need... on that note, I've been thinking of drawing up a Defender envelope (underbody configuration & bodywork) for a Defender 90 to assist in design of roll cages / custom bars / underbody guards, fuel tanks etc prior to fabrication... does anyone have this already for either Defender 90, 110 or 130?
Cheers

Hey guys,
l know its forward to ask, but if i was to do up the measurement for a roof rack could anyone help me with that
cheers
So are these going to be rear under sill tanks to sit to the right and left of the standard tank or under the seat box tanks like on a series? (probably an easier design and larger volume for under the seat type tanks). Having a look at scrapes on the rear sill mounted long range tanks on George130 they may have some clearance issues offroad, saying that though the 130 is a different vehicle alltogether.
Will this mean a full re route for the exhaust system to clear the pass side rear quarter?
And what will be the price?
