And I just watched a movie called shooting dogs about the Hutu and Tutsi of Rwanda and their ethnic cleansing genocide and the UN and fact that there a waste of space the movies is a true story said by those who survived by hiding in the sewers and under dead bodies for days

    It’s really sad

While us more fortunate westerners go supposedly over turn a bad but full of oil country is quest for war on terror

I suspect that Chronic is right. The Muslims as Birmingham probably didn't complain, it was more than likely a decision made by non-Muslims who think they know what Muslims want - a bit like the "ban Santa and Xmas celebrations" sentiments being seen over here.

Yep where on the same wavelength I don’t think race or religion should be of any country it should be citizen ship and that’s all

Black white yellow or green and every one should feel free to celebrate what they want, as they want as long as there is no harm

I hate when I’m told this is a Christian country I think no its not it multicultural country but what is more important is its freedom its beaches forests deserts and the Australian way of G’day Mate. Every day where loosing mate ship and why, why is the question we must ask, its because governments make exceptions for people and races who do not request them and that very race gets hated upon by the majority for the change never requested causing divide

Anyway that the end of my left or right views which every way is what hehehehe

G-day mate. Disabled ex Navy man here.

Personally, it doesn't matter to me. If somebody is hurting somebody else. They must be stopped.

The biggest problem we all face, is the politically correct overly vocal minority.
And our beloved legislators, and their legislated mediocrity.
Don't dare scare them, we all pay for it then.

I'd have to disagree and say it is a little naive, considering every country is made up of a race and predominant religion, you may hate being told this is a Christian country...but it is. It is also multicutural and accepting of other religions and races. Take your own religion....how accepting is it of other races and religions back at its roots?

What I don't get and what annoys me is that in my 40 odd yrs on this world of ours, why is it only seems to be the Muslim's we don't want to offend...well our ridiculous PC bureaucrats don't want to offend. What about Greek Orthodox, or Buddhists, or those of Jewish Faith? Part of the G'day mate, fair go etc is born from our culture, a culture born of Christian values.....not due to multiculturalism. It is that culture born that embraces multicultralism..........like many other predominat christian nations. Try embracing that in other parts of the world....not very likely.

    Regards

I'd argue the point on that one Shorty.

The groups that scare me the most are the Religious fundamentalists of any denomination.

Actually, the extreme PC brigade and the extremes on either side of the religious/political spectrum are actually the opposite sides of the same coin.
Either is to be avoided at all costs.

the only naive thing in my view is wanting to live in peace with any colour and creed, let me know of one occasion where religion has done any good any where. Take my religion....how accepting is it of other races and religions back at its roots, Islam once was a very accepting religion and was based on scholars now its a total joke it was Christians that where not accepting of the Islam’s faith and feared its growth and nothing has changed now, by the way I’m agnostic

But every race here in Australia has had its turn of racism 40 years ago you where saying you have been on the face of the earth Greeks and Italians had there go 50 60 years ago in Pauline Hansen’s days it where the Vietnamese and today its Islam

Islam would probably would have not been on the scopes it wasn’t for 911
