sorry it gets up my nose yes I'm Muslim I eat pork I root at least one a week a drink grog married a good Anglo girl and believe or not she isn't converted
he only naive thing in my view is wanting to live in peace with any colour and creed, let me know of one occasion where religion has done any good any where. Take my religion....how accepting is it of other races and religions back at its roots, Islam once was a very accepting religion and was based on scholars now its a total joke it was Christians that where not accepting of the Islam’s faith and feared its growth and nothing has changed now, by the way I’m agnostic
Im not going to get into a religious debate as they tend to get way to emotional , however am confused by your remarks that I have bolded. Agnostic by definition is "Someone who claims that they do not know or are unable to know whether God exists."

Also I don't disagree that there have been racist elements in our culture over many many years, my old man being a pom copped in the late 50's early 60's, but we have not had to alter or change our culture because of it.......until in recent years.

    Regards

" religion is the root and cause of all war " think about it!!

And if there is any one person that works Anzac day in this country, in my book needs a real reality check

    It’s really sad

While us more fortunate westerners go supposedly over turn a bad but full of oil country is quest for war on terror
Please don't take offence if I sound passionate on this comment - I really am!

During that above atrocity - there were members of our ADF there. Do a Google search and have a read of what they had to watch - and then have a look at the orders they were also under. Orders imposed on them - they were quite willing to fight at the time, even though it would've meant their certain death.

The medics and infantry etc that were there regularly risked their lives to save others they did not know. This all happened daily and for quite a long time. The stuff they saw still gives them nightmares to this day. And yes, some of the people that went over there are still in the ADF. Unfortunately the majority are out of the ADF die to the pyschological impact of what they saw.

If I or my colleagues don't work Anzac Day, then people can't travel to get to the marches, etc.

Very true Ron, the essential services are an around the clock job 24/7.

Everyone in Australia can top up with Milk, bread & fuel the day before Anzac day & for that matter, Easter Sunday & Christmas Day, There is no need other than greed for business's period to be open those days in particular.

It's great in the bush the majority of business's close at noon Saturdays & don't open on Sunday, sometimes inconvenient but there is always Monday, we've certainly lost some patience. They would be better closing all weekend opening longer hours weekdays, like two 8 hour shifts, probably get more people into work.

Multi-culturism sucks almost has a fowl word taste to it.

Religion has nothing to do with multi-culturism. It's religous zealots/lunatics that kill innocent children & women, and these guys should be put to the sword and eliminated, none of this turning the other cheek.
