Depending on the model of BMW i'm looking at the 1995-1997 years. And I chucked in some other car stats as well. 8.0-8.4/10 appears to be alright to me.

If its running costs and a small car wanted, N13 pulsar, hell even a hyundai excel, if its a bigger car, you can;t go past an EBon with LPG

But people dont solely buy cars due to pragmatic reasoning, so just buy the car you want............................that way everyone can taunt you when the beemer craps its knickers

Yes my mind is made up, What I was originally asking for in this thread was what to look for when inspecting the cars.

I was not suggesting you get a 300,000km car, just showing you a good alternative in small bmws. E36's still look modern today. Get one, I have never owned a car that has the same quality felling as bmw's. They are not disposable cars, they are built to be maintained.
